This is sturdy luggage
I really enjoyed using these bags on a recent trip out west. I carried them on 3 planes, perfect size. They went in a luggage carrier on the car fine. I could get a lot more in them than I expected. Beautiful color!
Here’s the kicker, we had an accident. The luggage was strewn across the highway. Later, returned to me. It survived road rash, one of the smaller zippers popped. But 99% percent of the things within were intact and not lost or broken. I was amazed. I am buying a replacement set, because if it survived that, it is very well made.
Only con is it does tend to fall forward when you set it down, just remember to lean it against your leg when not walking with it. Easy to get used to. Love this luggage, well worth every $.
Great suitcase
I like this suitcase. I haven't used it yet, but it's the same size, with same pockets as another bag I have.
So, it will work for me perfectly. Just the right size for carry-on and putting in the overhead compartment. Someone commented that the handle was short. That is not the case. When lifting the handle, you can stop it at 14 inches, but it goes up to 20.5 inches, from the suitcase.
This isn't a 360 degree roll around suitcase, but we like this kind of roller bag because it has an additional two inches of space inside (the size of 360 degree wheels). Precious space that's needed when going on vacation.
Bought two of these and they're great.
I was a little bit weary about this bag because of some of the negative reviews, but after actually getting my hands on two of them I'm glad to know that my worries were unfounded.
The bags are a little on the thin side, but if you're just packing essentials (aka what carryons are MEANT to be used for) the bags do their job just fine. I tested a few different packing options based on things I may use them for (short vacations and evacuating during hurricanes being the biggies) and the bags are totally fine. I can only assume that everyone who's had issues with stability or the zippers has been guilty of overpacking. That problem is on the consumer, not the bags themselves.
Between the bags being decent AND being priced relatively cheap, I for sure recommend them. Maybe even go as far as to buy an extra like I did. As long as you aren't a constant overpacker, I promise you won't regret it.
