 Great set!
We have taken on an airplane and it survived well with no damage. It is light weight, very pretty and rolls smoothly. They hold a lot!!! Great value a day would buy again.

 LOOKS GREAT, BUT NOT YET USED
Just got off a 7 day cruise to Alaska, and decided I needed a suitcase upgrade, as my old 2 wheel duffel would barely close on the contents, returning.

The Samsonite arrived intact, big and beautiful, just as pictured.

The wheels, locks, extendable handle and zippers all work smoothly, so am good to go.

I've read the surface scratches, which is disappointing, but a hard case that doesn't simply does not exist, I think, as the reviews on all the other models noted they did, as well, so just have to live with it, I guess.

As long as it remains in one piece, and contains the contents, with working wheels and zippers, I'll be satisfied.

The lock system seems a little fragile, just being the zipper tips inserted into holes, with a latching bar running thru it.

However, it's not a concern for me, as my duffel had no lock, and I never pack anything other than clothes, toiletries and a book or two, so not a prime target for potential thievery, I think.

Overall, I really like it, at this point.

I'm hopefully traveling to Kenya in February, and will return to edit this review when I return.

Beautiful Luggage!
I’ve never owned a really nice set of luggage before. I don’t travel too often, but for an upcoming cruise, I wanted to get a nice set with a large suitcase that I could trust for international travel, connecting flights, etc. I did all my research on the best brands of luggage and Samsonite seemed to top every list. Was bummed looking around to find it was way out of my price range. I was going to get a used set just to get a Samsonite set. But then I saw the emerald two piece set for an AMAZING deal (sizes 28/20), I snatched them up right away. Even cheaper than the used sets and cheaper than just the 28” inch one by itself!! I would never buy from a third party, because I’m sure there are a lot of fakes out there. These were sold by Amazon, and in fact they came in an Amazon box but Amazon put the box inside that still had the shipping label where it was shipped to their warehouse by samsonite. I love the color pink, so I really wanted to find a pink set, but this emerald color is absolutely gorgeous!! They wheel very nicely and smoothly. I do feel that the wheels feel a bit cheap, so I’m a smidge worried about that after some of the reviews, but I’ll definitely update this review if we have any issues with them. Overall, I’m very happy with the purchase. Note: people were complaining that there were not locks on some of them as described. If you read the descriptions, it says clearly that the carry on sizes do not have locks. So in this set, only the large suitcase does.
